Facebook makes it easier to take event photos

Last week Facebook rolled out their latest app. Facebook Camera. After announcing the purchase of instagram this was a little surprising, but then again good for us in the event industry.

So what is useful about fb’s latest offering? The user can now take photos of their event, conference, meeting, ext., and it will let you choose which photos to upload and then immediately take you to your facebook’s page and upload all the photos at once.

At lots of conferences and especially events where there are multiple breakout tracks, it will be great to show what is going on in each breakout for attendees to quickly make decisions on. Now you can upload scenes from each meeting quickly in one app and have them show up on FB for attendees. Or use the screenshots to supplement webcasts, etc.
