5 things to help you be better at using Social Media

Here is a list of 5 easy to remember things that will help you with Social Media.

  • 1. Provide relevant content that engages your customers and is interesting, timely and thought-provoking. If you can’t write material look to outsource to someone.
  • 2. Invest time every week or every day to produce good material for social marketing. If you don’t have the time, employ someone who does. SM provider rates have dropped dramatically – ask us.
  • 3. Ensure that your website is up-to-date, and that you relate social marketing back to your website, with free offers, discounts, etc.
  • 4. Use all methods of social marketing. Don’t just use twitter or linked-in. Use different platforms from Facebook pages, Vimeo, YouTube, etc.
  • 5. Millions of people engage on social media platforms every day, marketers use many different approaches and so should you to send out messages that cover all your demographics. Use the opportunity to collect names and email addresses and street address via forms, opt in links, subscriptions, etc. Every list you build is another outlet of marketing for your business.
  • Quick quiz:
